• The 51�Թ��� State Education Department (51�Թ���) is opening a public comment opportunity on proposed amendments to the 51�Թ��� State consolidated state plan under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The proposed amendments initiate��the first part of the Reimagine Phase of the accountability system for the 2025-26 school year using 2024-25 school year results.��
• 51�Թ��� is seeking feedback from teachers, principals, superintendents, parents, and other stakeholders on this proposal via an online survey, which can be found on the 51�Թ��� Reimagine Accountability webpage. This survey will be available through Friday, May 31, 2024.����
• To inform survey responses, 51�Թ��� has prepared an informational webinar, titled “Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Accountability Reimagine Phase,” which is available on the 51�Թ��� Reimagine Accountability webpage. It is highly recommended that stakeholders view the webinar in full before completing the public comment survey.��
