The Office of Bilingual Education and World Languages will be unveiling itsÌý2025-26 NYSSB Professional Learning Series in early September with webinar descriptions, dates, and registration links.Ìý This year's series will include webinars on the following topics:

- Supporting Various Populations to Earn the NYSSB (Students with Disabilities, English Language Learners, Heritage Language Speakers, World Language Students)
- NYSSB Collaborations - PRHYLI and the NYS Seal of Civic Readiness
- Approved Checkpoint C Assessments
- How to Evaluate Student Performance on the Culminating Project
- Organizing a School-wide, District-wide, or County-wide "World Language Day"
- Preparing for the Culminating Project Visit

These webinars, focused on the implementation of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø State Seal of Biliteracy, are offeredÌýfree of chargeÌýfor educators, counselors, and administrators working and studying in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø State educational institutions.Ìý (It is not necessary for your school to be implementing the NYSSB this year to attend these webinars.)Ìý All NYSSB webinars take place from 3:30-4:30 p.m. via Zoom.ÌýÌýRegistration is required for attendance and CTLE certificates.Ìý All webinars are recorded for on-demand viewing at a later date.Ìý Click here to access the list of webinar recordings.
