Approved Reimagine Phase Beginning in the 2025-26 School Year
The United States Department of Education approved amendments to the accountability section of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø State Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan on January 8, 2025. The approved 51³Ô¹ÏÍø State ESSA plan can be found on the Approved 51³Ô¹ÏÍø State ESSA Plan page.
At the June 2025 Board of Regents meeting, were approved under permanent action.Ìý
Static Cut Points and Statewide Measures of Interim Progress and Long-Term Goals
In alignment with the approved ESSA plan, the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø State Education Department (51³Ô¹ÏÍø) released the static cut points for the Core Subject Performance and Attendance indicators, as well as the statewide Measures of Interim Progress and Long-Term Goals, which can be used to inform continuous improvement planning. Reimagine Phase Accountability Fact Sheets
51³Ô¹ÏÍø has released a series of informational fact sheets about 51³Ô¹ÏÍø State’s accountability system Reimagine Phase to provide general overviews of:Ìý
- major components of the Reimagine Phase accountability system;ÌýÌý
- accountability support model identification and exit criteria; andÌýÌý
- accountability indicators.Ìý
