51³Ô¹ÏÍø, in collaboration with BOCES, the Big 5 school districts, and the small city school districts, hosted a statewide numeracy conference on May 13, 2025.ÌýDuring the conference, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø was pleased to release a series of eight numeracy briefs that highlight the evidence-based features and best practices of effective mathematics instruction. These briefs were produced for 51³Ô¹ÏÍø by Dr. Deborah Loewenberg Ball, Professor of Education at the University of Michigan, and TeachingWorks, a project at the University of Michigan. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the eight numeracy briefs with the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø team and keynote speaker Dr. Loewenberg Ball.
