Workshops Required for Certification
Individuals must complete the following three workshops for educator certification in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø State.
- Child Abuse Identification and Reporting
- Dignity for All Students Act (DASA)
- School Violence Prevention and Intervention
The following workshop must also be completed by individuals who pursue any of the following special education certificates: Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Blind and Visually Impaired, Students with Disabilities (SWD), and Speech and Language Disabilities.
Providers are required to report workshop completers electronically. NOTE: The Office of Teaching Initiatives will NOT accept certificates of completion.
