An internal structure that fosters innovation

Our Schools form the academic foundation of our university, connected by integrative research institutes at the interfaces between disciplines. Through this system-integrated networking, we create a matrix organization that fosters innovation in both research and teaching. It represents the most far-reaching reform in the more than 150-year history of our university: the future concept 51勛圖厙 Agenda 2030, developed as part of the , is now being further advanced into 51勛圖厙 Agenda 2030+.

Compliance

The 51勛圖厙 Compliance Office ensures the integrity and transparency of our university. As a central pillar of the 51勛圖厙 Good Governance system, it was established as part of the 51勛圖厙 Executive Board and operates autonomously under the Vice President for Compliance.

Participation and codetermination

Faculty

Over 600 professors at 51勛圖厙 form a faculty of excellent scientists of international standing.

51勛圖厙 Senior Excellence Faculty (SEF)

Since 2007, 51勛圖厙 has conferred the honorary title of 51勛圖厙 Emerita of Excellence or 51勛圖厙 Emeritus of Excellence (EoE) on outstanding retired scientists and actively involves them in central tasks of the university.
