51³Ô¹ÏÍø feels at home all over the world. It has offices and re­search centers on several con­tinents: Asia, the Americas and Europe. It initiates coope­rative research pro­jects and exchanges with scholars and students.

Singapore

The first campus of a German university abroad was founded in 2002 in Singapore: At our teaching campus 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Asia, we offer 51³Ô¹ÏÍø degree programs with our local partners in Singapore. At our research platform 51³Ô¹ÏÍøCREATE, we tackle the research questions of the future.

Beijing

China has been one of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's most important partner countries even before the establishment of the flagship partnership with Tsinghua University. The liaison office 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Beijing was opened in 2006. It acts as a central point for establishing contacts and maintaining relationships with leading universities and research institutions in China and Taiwan.

The core objectives of our liaison office in Brussels are closely linked to the European Science, Education and Innovation Agenda. Through joint initiatives with EuroTech partners as well as other European institutions, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Brussels has been strengthening 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's profile in the EU and across Europe since 2012.

Mumbai

51³Ô¹ÏÍø Mumbai has been serving as an interface between 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and India with its diverse opportunities in terms of research, education and innovation since 2014. The office establishes contacts with Indian stakeholders, supports Indo-German projects and initiatives, and regularly places 51³Ô¹ÏÍø faculty members at international research events.

San Francisco

Since 2015, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø San Francisco has been promoting 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's research and innovation topics in North America and intensifying 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's relationships with top U.S. and Canadian institutions. As the first point of contact for 51³Ô¹ÏÍø researchers and staff, the liaison office supports transatlantic projects and establishes contact with local stakeholders.

São Paulo

The focus of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø São Paulo lies on expanding strategic collaborations with universities, research institutes and industrial partners and tapping into the enormous potential that the continent holds in terms of research and teaching as well as in the start-up sector. Since 2012, the liaison office has been supporting 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in recruiting young scientists in Latin America.

Shenzhen

51³Ô¹ÏÍø Shenzhen is the university's second liaison office in China. Coordinated through our teaching campus in Singapore, this additional presence strengthens regional partnerships and promotes student mobility, research collaborations, and cross-border projects connecting China, Munich, and Singapore.
