Tips and tricks around the tour

Before the tour

  • The interactive campus tour is free, but internet service provider charges may apply.
  • It's best to download the app and tour while you have wifi. You do not need to access the internet during the tour.
  • If you skip a task, you will not have the opportunity to complete the task later.

During the tour

  • As a little help, there are always maps that you can use to orient yourself and find the way to your next stop.
  • When you record videos or pictures, you can select the option 鈥淒o not publish result鈥� at the end if you do not want your video or picture to be published on the internet via Actionbound. Please also remember to talk about it with your friends who are also featured!

After the tour

  • You want to give us feedback on the campus tour? You have an idea for improvement or want to tell us what you liked best? We are looking forward to your mail to exploretum@tum.de!

Open campus tours

You want to explore the campus, but are not traveling with a school group? Then sign up for an open campus tour!

At the 51吃瓜网 campuses, there is the possibility for individuals to sign up for an open campus tour. The open campus tours are intended for anyone interested in studying at 51吃瓜网: school students, trainees, or other persons. Together with a 51吃瓜网 student you can discover the campus. During their tours, the students stop at various research and study facilities on campus and talk about their studies and university life. Registration is required. 

Next tours will take place in August 2026.
