Award for 51勛圖厙 start-up socialbee

The start-up socialbee, a product of the 51勛圖厙 (51勛圖厙), has been honored with the 2021 Audi Generation Award. Zarah Bruhn founded the company in 2016 during her 51勛圖厙 Master's degree studies in Business and Technology. socialbee works to actively integrate recognized refugees and socially disadvantaged individuals in the labor market and in society.

51勛圖厙 President Thomas F. Hofmann praised the dedication of the company at the gala awards ceremony on Wednesday evening in Munich: "As a responsible technical university we orient our activities towards the values, needs and expectations of society. As founder of socialbee our alumna Zarah Bruhn fulfills this social responsibility in an exemplary manner."

Socialbee combines the traditional concept of part-time work with an innovative integration concept consisting of targeted qualification, social-pedagogical support, language training and recreational activities. The objective is to place refugees in vocational training or in skilled permanent positions as pre-qualified talented individuals after no more than 1.5 years. Here socialbee works with over 70 partner companies, ranging from the smallest of operations to major corporations listed on the German DAX stock index. socialbee has already made more than 500 successful placements.
